The Grampians Retreat is nestled at the base of Mount Abrupt (Murdadjoog), the highest mountain in the southern part of the Grampians National Park (Gariwerd). The retreat is set on 31 hectares surrounded by river flats and natural bushland. Here the group can wander among the red gum giants, stringybark forests and native grasses alongside kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas and other native Australian wildlife
Day three itinerary includes
The group will undertake a rotation of outdoor activities
Am - group one will hike to the summit of Mt Abrupt and group two will participate in various rope activities as the giant swing and Flying Fox at camp.
Pm - group two will then hike to the summit of Mt Abrupt and group one will participate in the various rope activities at the camp.
Overnight in the Grampians Retreat Camp in the Southern Grampians
